RISER Public Workshop: Confirmed as a Side-Event of RISC-V Summit Europe

RISER is pleased to announce of its public workshop, which will be held as a side event of the highly anticipated RISC-V Summit Europe. The workshop is scheduled for June 9, from 13:30 to 17:00,at Barcelo Sants Hotel in Barcelona.

The RISER workshop will feature an impressive lineup of experts from industry and academia who will share their insights and expertise on the topic of “RISC-V for Cloud Services.” Among the distinguished speakers is Mark Himelstein, the Chief Technology Officer of RISC-V International, who will deliver a keynote address about the RISC-V software ecosystem..

The workshop will also include invited talks by the coordinators of our “sibling” projects :AERO, OpenCube, and VITAMIN-V. In addition, there will be presentations by Leonidas Kosmidis from BSC, who will discuss the exciting field of “Cloud for Space,” and Luis Busquets, a policy officer from DG-CNECT. Their contributions will shed light on the latest developments in the RISC-V ecosystem and ongoing research and innovation activities within Europe.

A panel session will further enrich the workshop by providing an opportunity for interactive discussions among the participants. The aim of the panel is to identify the key elements necessary for RISC-V to become a viable choice for Cloud services. Attendees can look forward to gaining valuable insights and actionable recommendations for enhancing RISC-V technology to support Cloud services.
