RISER plenary meeting to be hosted by BSC in Barcelona, Spain at the beginning of March

The plenary meeting of the RISER project is set to take place in the vibrant city of Barcelona on March 4th and 5th, 2024. Hosted graciously by our partners at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), this gathering will bring together representatives from across the entire the consortium, including FORTH (RISER project coordinator), Semidynamics, EXTOLL, Exapsys, SiPEARL, CloudSigma and of course our hosts BSC. The agenda has already been set and includes presentations from all Work Package leaders to provide updates on their respective Work Package. We’ve also set aside adequate time for discussion, which is crucial for coordinating such large collaborative projects.

At the heart of the agenda lies a shared commitment to drive innovation and push the boundaries of what’s possible with RISC-V technology. From exploring new research avenues to identifying opportunities for more effective collaboration, the goal of the two day meeting will be to make sure we’re all on the same page, deliverables are submitted on time, and that overall the project is progressing as planned.

We’re all looking forward to spending some time together in Barcelona and thank our hosts BSC in advance. We’re sure the meetings will facilitate a dynamic exchange of ideas and drive progress across the project. There will inevitably be challenges along the way, and these face-to-face meetings provide a great opportunity to discuss and plan ahead to ensure successful collaboration.
